| STRONG 8th OVERALL FOR PHILIPPAERTS IN BULGARIA ! |

The fifth round of the Fim Motocross World Championship was back to the marvellous bulgarian track of Sevlievo which celebrated the ten years with this event.
David PHILIPPAERTS managed to race two very consistent motos finishing 8th and 9th taking the 8th overall of the Grand Prix, battling all weekend with the top riders of the queen MX class onboard of his performant CRF450R Pro Circuit. In race #1 after a start in 6th position DP19 could mantain his place almost till the end of the race and same happened in race #2 when DP was riding in 7th place and just tired a few laps to the end of the GP after strong battles with Nagl and Searle. DP19 is now pointing to the top 10 of the overall of the championship after an unlucky start of the season!
Harri KULLAS in Bulgaria showed some improvements and more determination to take a 12th and 13th finishing places, always coming from the back of the field and after loosing many places at the first turn. The Finn can improve from there and point regularly now to the top 10.

"Here in Bulgaria we saw a very good Philippaerts taking the 8th place overall, let's not forget that here in Sevlievo he finished 10th in 2011 before his injury and 7th in 2012, so this is a good result for him on his CRF450R. He can improve from now with 12 GP's still to be raced. Kullas showed a bit more consistency here and we expect to see him soon back in the top ten of the MX2 class, this is the target."" |
