Difficult German Grand Prix for the SKS Polned TM Factory Team
The SKS Polned TM Factory Team has had a difficult final Grand Prix of the season in Teutschenthal, Germany. In the first moto both riders crashed right after the start and had to come back through the field. Nick charged back to 22nd position but Andrea got a mechanical problem in the middle of the race and was forced to retire from the race. In the second moto Andrea was riding inside of the points when he got the same mechanical problems as in the first moto and due to this he was forced to retire from the race again. Nick was coming back through the field after a poor start but in the middle of the race he made a big crash because he got a mechanical problem in midair. After this crash he was forced to retire from the race as wellThe weekend started positively for the team. Andrea was riding a strong qualifying heat on Saturday. He started just outside of the top twenty but it didn't took him long before he moved up inside of the top twenty. He gave everything he got and managed to pass a rider in the final lap to finally finish the race in eighteenth position. Nick took a poor start and had to come back from 32nd position. Nick managed to pass several riders during the race and finished the moto in 25th position.

The first moto started with some bad luck for both riders. Andrea and Nick crashed in the second corner and had to come back through the field. Nick came close of scoring points but finally crossed the finish line in 22nd position. Andrea made a lot of passes in the beginning of the race but unfortunately he got a mechanical problem and was forced to retire from the race.Both riders were motivated to do well in the second moto. Andrea started the race just outside of the top twenty. He found his rhythm straight away and worked himself up to seventeenth position. Unfortunately in lap six he got the same mechanical problem as in the first moto and was forced to retire from the race. Nick took a poor start and started a charge back through the field. After a few laps he had worked himself up into 25th position. Everything went well till he made a big crash because of a mechanical problem in midair. After this crash he was forced to retire from the race as well.

Overall Nick finished in 30th position and Andrea ended the day in 33rd position. After a long World Championship season Andrea finished in 30th position and Nick finished in 58th position in the World Championship Standings.
